Our Interview Process
This process can change depending on the role you are being considered for, but generally here's what to expect if you apply.Note: Whatnot recruiters only contact candidates from @whatnot.com emails or their LinkedIn accounts associated with Whatnot.- 1
Resume Review
We review your resume and reach out if it looks like a strong fit. We move fast here, so you'll hear back quickly. - 2
Initial Screen
You'll speak with someone on our team over phone or video. We'll learn about your background and share what the role is really like, including what's hard. - 3
Second Round
You'll meet with the hiring manager for the role. This is a deeper conversation about the work, the team, and how you'd contribute. - 4
Skills Interview
You'll meet with additional team members. Depending on the role, this could include a technical, coding, or case-based section. - 5
Final Round
This is the final interview stage, including a Cultural Principles interview where we assess for ownership, speed, and how you handle ambiguity. - 6
Offer letter
Congrats, you've made it. We'll check your references and put together a formal offer.
