Up for sale, we have a beautiful set of three (3) silver cast bars that total a weight of 17 troy ounces. The first bar you will receive is a 2oz Engelhard Australia Modern Poured Cast Silver Bar. The second bar you will receive is a 5oz Engelhard Australia Modern Poured Cast Silver Bar. The third bar you will receive is a 10oz Engelhard Australia Modern Poured Cast Silver Bar. Unlike Engelhard Australia vintage products, which are becoming exceedingly rare, these bars are slightly easier to source on the secondary market. They do vary in design and, based on our research, were likely produced in the 2015-2016 date range by Engelhard Australia Pty Ltd. Despite the controversy behind these elusive bars over the years, they have become more and more sought after by collectors and stackers alike. Very little information can be found on these bars as AllEngelhard.com does not provide any sort of mintage information on these bars and don't recognize or classify them as true vintage Engelhard bars. Here, at SBS, we are aware of two different types of this 2oz poured bar. The first type (included with this order) is an unserialized bar, which is the more common variety of the two. The second type (not included) comes with serialization on the bar and is exceedingly scarce. We are also aware of two types of 5oz bars, but all 5oz bars are serialized from our knowledge. The differences between both 5oz bar types has to do with nuances on the obverse logo and reverse stamp placement. You will receive one of these two bar types. The third and final bar is a 10oz bar and we are only aware of a single type that comes with a unique serial number. None of the bars that you receive will come in the original packaging or box (these are for presentation purposes only). As these are items that have been circulating for years, the pieces may exhibit some dings, scratches, smudges, discoloration, or toning in line with their age.
